Collaborative Revisions: Reshaping Universal Rights
────────────────────────────────────────
Collaborative Revisions is an interdisciplinary research project led by visual artists Elisa Piazzi and Inna Kochkina, that explores, questions and complicates the notion of universality using the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) as a tool to make its meaning and implications more tangible. T
hrough collective writing sessions, performative workshops and critical theory this project explores who is included, and who is excluded, in the frameworks of universal rights. We ask: What is universal? And who defines it? Whose rights are made visible and whose are erased?
